The new website is launched

Well, I did really believe that the process of design might consume just a few enjoyable hours. I mean, how long exactly to model and create a web page style template, then deploy it inside the Project 43 website pages? All went swimmingly,  however I neglected to factor in the Photoshop time. At least now I have created some actions and vignettes that will automate a chunk of the raw image processing for me, post camera. All I need now is a slave to do the uploads daily whilst I help myself to a gin and tonic.

25th March - Classes in the open air

Thankfully, the days are longer at this time of the year, and with evening classes, we can now practise our craft outside. Here we are, on location Bradford, taking multiple shots again before going back to the lab and stitching them together.

24th March - Stairway to heaven?

Another panoramic, or as david calls them, "Joiners". Here we have the Victorian staircase at Joseph Nutter House in Bradford - at one time an orphanage, bankrolled by the eponymous Mr Nutter. The door at the top of the landing often gets slammed in the face of staff and students who are not looing straight ahead - giving rise to the belief that the place is haunted.

23rd March - Composite images of Ilkley

My class in Ilkley today was all about composite images (using Photoshop). Here's one we did along Bolton Bridge Road/ Chapel Lane:

This one was made with around 12 images taken with a Canon Powershot A620.

Yes, it works! It's my Goblin! Set to make coffee with home-made coffee bags for 07.00 each weekday (except Thursdays).

21st March - relaxing at home with the remotes

Johnnie, making sure some control is exerted over the radio.

20th March - Lister Park and Cartwright Gallery (closed)

The Cartwright is closed until Easter. Bad. I mean bad for Bradford.
